Money is a thorny topic many avoid in disciplemaking, but probably one of the areas of biggest hidden or unaddressed sin we face in this country. How can we talk about finances in a way that addresses the root issues without being overly proscriptive or controlling? Courtney Markley, a certified Christian Financial Counselor and founder of the Center for Financial Discipleship, is well-versed in talking about not just numbers, but our heart and posture before God as we consider this important topic.
The Columbus Discipleship Network meets on (typically) the third Thursdays of the month over lunch for inspiration, equipping, and community for a lifestyle of disciplemaking. A catered lunch is provided free of charge, although donations are encouraged to keep it sustainable. As such, RSVPs are required.
