ANNUAL EVENTS
Our annual events welcome all Kingdom-minded believers to come together for worship, inspiration, and equipping.
ALL EVENTS
We offer monthly and quarterly events to strengthen the fabric of unity among the Church of Columbus and to help you connect with valuable partners and resources.

Thu, Sep 17Gerald Murphy, Senior Pastor at Garden City Church, will guide our conversation on "Kingdom Focus in a Partisan Age." As we barrel toward a contentious election, this re-frame will provide refreshing, timely guidance as we minister to those from all sides of the aisle.
Sun, Sep 20One City Prayer is our annual citywide gathering where believers from across Columbus come together with one heart and one cry for our city. Every fall, we unite in unified city-focused prayer, worship, scripture, and intercession, asking God to move powerfully in every neighborhood and community.
Fri, Sep 25Join us as we walk together and lift up our city in purposeful prayer! We will offer an option for those with mobility challenges as well. Breakfast will also be provided, so please RSVP so we can prepare to host you.
Thu, Oct 08Joel Wharton, founder of Repurposed Lives Coaching, is the perfect person to walk us through our thorny topic: "Dealing With Church Hurt." A former counselor, care pastor, and fellow traveler, Joel's experience and deep empathy will help us be effective as we walk with those who are struggling.
Thu, Oct 22Our October discussion will focus on tools for disciplemaking in a congregational setting. We will meet in the Lookout Room at the Upper Arlington COHatch over cookies & coffee. We value every voice in the room. Please join us!
Thu, Nov 19Our culture is asking fewer questions about objective truth, and more questions with subjective, squishy answers. For this, we need "Relational Apologetics." Jason Seiple, of Parable Project and Christian Assembly, has a great lens on where culture is and how we can meaningfully respond.
Thu, Dec 10Our December discussion will focus on tools for disciplemaking in our wider communities. We will meet in the Lookout Room at the Upper Arlington COHatch over cookies & coffee. We value every voice in the room. Please join us!
Thu, Dec 17Shane Tucker, beloved Director of Networks at For Columbus, recently earned his Masters degree in Theology, Ministry & Missions. The focus of his thesis was on the role Imagination plays in our Formation and Vocation, and how the Arts inspire this process.
Thu, Jan 21Courtney Markley, a certified Christian Financial Counselor and founder of the Center for Financial Discipleship, is well-versed in talking about not just numbers, but our heart and posture before God as we consider money.
Thu, Feb 18How can we walk out the tension between climbing the ladder and walking in the way of Jesus? John Scroggins leads the Baton Exchange, which aims to disciple young professionals in the way of workplace ministry.
Thu, Mar 18Our feelings often stop us from being faithful, especially when we are mired by fear, discouragement, virtuous victimhood, or wrestling with our own doubts and struggles. How can we be faithful to our calling in the midst of it all? And, in some cases, should we?
Thu, Apr 22There is something very intimate about inviting others into your home or space. As our culture becomes increasingly individualistic, what can we learn from this ancient, biblical, and effective skill about how to make disciples?
Thu, May 20In a cultural moment marked by confusion, reactivity, and pastoral complexity around gender, sexuality, and the body, many leaders feel caught between silence and reactivity. This talk offers a third way—moving beyond suppression or affirmation toward a deeper, formational engagement with desire.
