Too real, too deep, too common – How can we be agents of healing in the midst of it all?
Whether dealing with outright spiritual abuse, more general disappointment with spiritual leaders and the institutional church, or disillusionment with Christianity as a whole, it is crucial that we learn to come alongside people who are reckoning with agonizing pain and doubt. How can we acknowledge real wrongs and yet encourage commitment to community? How can we walk alongside someone on the road to deconstruction with grace and truth? How can we minister as agents of healing in such broken spirituality?
