About the event

“To answer before listening — that is folly and shame!” - Proverbs 18:13

As we all know from personal experience, it can be frustrating when we don't feel heard or understood. Part of the magic of counseling is just feeling really truly heard by another person who can ask incisive questions. But we don't need to be professional counselors to bring some of these same skills into our personal and ministry relationships. In fact, some of the best disciplemakers we know are great listeners who know when to ask the right question.

Dane Alexander is the Worship & Young Adult Minister at Discover Christian Church, and a valuable Advisor to the Columbus Discipleship Network. He will guide us through how to hone these key skills in our own lives, and how it pairs with the flexible disciplemaking framework we've advocated in this series. Don't miss this!
