The word 'discipleship' is used by many people in the church to mean a variety of things, from 1-on-1 mentorship to spiritual growth. But what did Jesus mean when he talked about discipleship? Ryan Weingartner, Young Leaders National Specialist for YFC, has done a deep dive on this topic.

This verse serves as the cornerstone for many disciplemaking ministries, including the Columbus Discipleship Network. But when Jesus instructed his disciples to "make disciples," what exactly did he mean by that? Adopting a set of beliefs? Living in a particular way? People who are growing in their faith? Meeting 1:1 at Starbucks once a week to read a book with a Christian mentor?
