uniting the Church of Columbus to be for the City of Columbus

The mission of For Columbus is to inspire, gather, and activate followers of Jesus to pursue the common good in our city.

Together, we are cultivating a “gospel movement” in our city. Our driving passion is to experience a more unified church that follows in the way of Jesus to cultivate citywide flourishing. We want to see the Church unify around the values of gospel saturation, humility, kingdom diversity, relational unity, and love for the city to bring about holistic transformation.

“What an honor it is to be part of For Columbus, a unique gospel movement that aims to unite faith-based organizations to do good in our city.  I can’t wait to see what happens when the body of believers in Columbus joins together and joins God on bringing the kingdom here on Earth, in Columbus Ohio.“

Scott Mallory

“I love Columbus. I believe a unified body of believers is the way our city will know that love is real and God is making all things right. For Columbus gives every org, church, and leader an opportunity to work with each other to bring God’s Kingdom here, now.”

Jess Gatton

“We don’t have a resource problem in Central Ohio… we have a connection problem. The Lord is using For Columbus to connect our city to solve problems together that we could never do on our own.”

Wally Martinson

“What an exciting time to be alive! God is SO FAITHFUL and I am glad to play a small role in assisting the unification of the global church here in Columbus.  Maranatha!”

Dr. Wayne Gordon

“This glorifies God by demonstrating His unique ability to foster healthy community in a world where relational brokenness and strife are the rule. Promoting unity in the church of Columbus glorifies God and causes those who do not know God to sit up and take notice.”
