We're excited to announce Daniel Nathan as our new Operations Director!
After two years of team prayer and the generosity of a donor, Daniel comes to us with vast knowledge and experience in business and ministry, with a heart that beats for the Church and its mission in the world. With over 18 years leading in pastoral ministry at Vineyard Columbus, Daniel has stewarded everything from large-scale organizational development to grassroots outreach; from launching new ministries to building partnerships in the city to mentoring and coaching leaders. His background is a unique blend of pastoral care, nonprofit leadership, international missions, and strategic management, anchored by a Master’s in Public Administration and deep faith in Christ. Whether overseeing clean water projects in East Africa or guiding a church community through the challenges of a global pandemic, Daniel brings wisdom, warmth, and unwavering dedication to the Kingdom work at hand.
Daniel and his wife Melissa, married for over 24 years, are proud Columbus natives and both graduates of The Ohio State University, where they completed their undergraduate and graduate studies. They’re raising three incredible sons, two of whom will be studying at OSU this Fall. A lifelong Buckeyes fan, Daniel loves cheering on his team, playing pickleball, and relaxing at a local coffee shop usually deep in conversation or with a good book in hand.
In his new role as Operations Director at For Columbus, Daniel steps into a vital leadership position focused on bringing vision to life through action. He’ll help integrate key priorities and oversee daily operations, all with the goal of advancing For Columbus’ mission to unite the Church and Christian leaders in our city to be FOR COLUMBUS. Working closely with Executive Director Nick, the Board, the staff, and FC’s many partners, Daniel will help shape and execute strategies that foster Kingdom collaboration, streamline operations, and support sustainable, Spirit-led growth.
Please pray for Daniel as he steps into this new role, and that he may lead with faith and excellence, while being sustained and motivated by God’s deep love for our City! To contact Daniel, please email hello[at]forcolumbus[dot]org.
