Dear Praying friends,
It is amazing to pause for a moment and consider the sacredness of being made in God's image! Whether male or female, married or single, we have all been created to reflect God and give Him glory.
Unfortunately, the gift of being male or female, the gift of marriage, and the gift of raising children is not properly celebrated in our culture. As mindsets and media become increasingly dark, we can find an anchor in the truth of God's Word.
This month, every time we see the truth suppressed and marriage and gender mocked, let's pray according to John 16 where Jesus describes the work of the Holy Spirit to convict the world concerning "sin and righteousness and judgment" (John 16:8, ESV). Only the Holy Spirit can illuminate to unbelievers the truth about these issues and the path of life! Pray as well that the blinders the "god of this age" has put on people would be removed so that the light of Christ may shine brightly and transform hearts (2 Corinthians 4:4).
